The meeting was held with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry on Finance, State Tax Administration, Association of Banks and Financial Establishments of Ukraine, Public Board in the Committee.
According to the meeting participants, "a lot of issues of Draft Tax Code need considerable working-out by the specialist of certain spheres of activity and branches."
In the course of the sitting it was emphasised that "the ideal variant for the adoption of the qualitative Code is preparation and introduction of the amendments for the scrutiny of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of its separate chapters." In particular, fist of al, ht chapter I regarding the terms used in the Code (glossary) is top be scrutinized, later chapters III-XVIII (taxes issues) and only afterwards chapter II regarding the legal liability for the violations of the legisaliton norms (tax administration and legal proceeding). Moreover, before the scrutiny of each chapter, the public hearings are to be conducted.
During the sitting it was declared that on 1 July the period of introduction of amendments and remarks by the juridical entities to the bill has terminated. In general 5357 amendments were introduced.
Except propositions submitted by the People´s Deputies, the Committee received great number of the propositions from associations, enterprises, organisations, citizens, Ministries, local self-government bodies and international organisations.
